 Costume and Makeup Research Different types of makeup and costumes have inspired me to prepare the makeup and costumes for my end product.   Costume Reference from Movies  This costume is a reference from the TV series 'Sweet Home', The TV series references casual wear, but with the horrifying elements of blood splatter, portraying the occurrence of disturbance/uncanny in a normalized world. This is a costume reference from the movie 'Pan's Labyrinth', The clothing of this movie shows how the small girl's clothing portrays the childish innocence, while the monster's costume used prosthetic makeup to portray its realistic look. Makeup reference from movies This is Make Up reference from the TV series 'Sweet Home', The series uses lenses to show the effect of being mutated, and hand-drawn/prosthetic makeup for other changes. (source-Pinterest) The Movie Pan's Labyrinth heavily relies on prosthetics to give a realistic look to their creatures.

Genre Research What is fantasy as a genre? Fantasy is a genre of fiction that typically features magic, supernatural or otherworldly things. What is dark fantasy? Dark fantasy is a subgenre of the main genre of fantasy. This genre blends horror and fantasy elements, often having a grim dark setting. This subgenre features a darker tone to fantasy.  What is the difference between fantasy and dark fantasy? Fantasy is a whole genre, while dark fantasy is a subgenre of it, but what mostly differentiates these particular genres is the settin.g when fantasy as a whole is thought of as a genre it is imagined as a world of magic and light, while dark fantasy has a darker tone and has some horror.  Movie Research According to my genre of dark fantasy, I have researched some movies that will help me progress in developing my end project. Shots and Angles

Shots and Angles  Preliminary work To develop my skill in film production I have taken some shots and angles with the convenience of what I have. Shots Medium shot Here, I took a medium shot of my dog. It was a little hard to keep him in place, but after trying a couple of times, I think I did it okay. Close up shot Here I asked my sister for help to take a close shot of her eye and I think it came ok, Two shot Here, I asked my mother and grandmother to sit together so I could take two shots of them, and they happily came to help me with this. Establishing shot Here I took an Establishing shot but then afterwards when I did more research about shots and angles I thought that this wasn't an appropriate shot to define an Establishing shot so I tried again, Wide shot Here I took a wide shot of the scenery of a place I went to it was actually very easy to take this photo on my phone ( Samsung Ultra 23) High angle shot  Here also I positioned my dog properly and tried to take a hig...
