Using MOGRT Files

Image
Using MOGRT Files MORGT Files are motion graphic templates which are pre-made to use on Adobe Premiere Pro. For my opening sequence, I have used MORGT files to give it a cinematic look.  I downloaded  MORGT files from the website MIXKIT  and also used already used files on Adobe Premer Pro.  The first MORGT file I used is to show the company logo(name) And for 'presents' The next file I used was for my title 'Uncanny' Next I used it for my credits

Adding Music

Image
Adding Music The next task was for me to find the appropriate music and sound effects to use for my opening sequence,  I used websites like  PIXABAY ,  MIXKIT ,  NCS  to download the appropriate music. Sound Effects I used the two websites  PIXABAY   and  MIXKIT   to get the appropriate sound effects. The first sound effect I needed was a  gunshot.  To create a realistic effect of my character getting shot, I used a  laser weapon shot  sound effect from the MIXKIT website. I used a laser gun shot without a normal gun to give the feeling of my creature being a thing hard to kill even with a laser shot. The next sound I wanted was a sound that portrayed an explosion of energy, which I found on PIXABAY  In my opening sequence, my character explodes in light. For this moment, I needed a sound effect to portray the depth of that sequence. Music I used the website NCS and YouTube music to download music for ...

Editing Part 2

Image
Editing Part 2 After I shot the footage (for the part in Jail), I chose the proper footage and started the editing process, Brightening and Combining Footage Here I started editing my footage, this time my footage was a little dark, and I had to light up the footage Then I used the lighting effect to brighten the footage. Using the Glow Effect on After Effects (this is Premiere Pro) Then, I used 'After Effects' and the glow effect, and then I enlarged the glow by masking it second by second until it mirrored the whole screen.

Editing Part 1

Image
Editing Part 1 As I gathered my footage from the first day of filming in the forest, I started with the editing process, Combining and adding transitions First I started with choosing the appropriate clips from my footage and putting them together. I found difficulty in having a smooth transition between clips, but then I used only transitions for some because those rough cuts actually help give depth to the intense running scene in the forest, I actually combined some clips from my mock shoot that went well, giving the footage a much better look. Darkening the Footage Next, I made my footage darker to give it more intensity and depth. I used the effect Lumetri colour for this. It took me a little time to get the footage's accurate colour because Lumetri colour has four colours: red, green, white, and blue. Combining those will give the accurate colour.

Use of Green Screen for my end Product

Image
Use of Green Screen for my end Product For my End product, I have used Green Screen for one part of my opening scene First I took a green screen  used VFX effects from YouTube, Then, I put this on Adobe Premier Pro and cut the video to the length I wanted it to be. Then, I used After Effects to remove the green screen background and add it to my character. Then finally added it to my end product.

Filming Part 2 of my Opening Sequence (In Jail)

Image
Filming Part 2 of My Opening Sequence (In Jail) On the second day, I started to shoot in the second location, which was in my house. The main thing I had to do was prepare the place to make it look like an open Jail. Then I started the Filming Process. I started with taking the surroundings, the small details that make the place look like a jail. To portray the typical feeling of a prison. Then, we started shooting the footage until it matched the standard I wanted. The dark lighting caused some difficulties, but I fixed it with the phone's settings. my video And that is how we finished shooting the opening sequence.

Filming Part One of My Opening Sequence(In the forest)

Image
Filming Part 1 of My Opening Sequence First, we arrived at the rubber-cultivated forest. I did my actor's make-up there since taking her around with the make-up I was doing was inconvenient. After doing the makeup, we had to wait for the sun to go down a bit to get the lighting perfect. After a few minutes, we started the shoot. There were little bumps on the way, so we had to film some clips many times until it was perfect. We started at about 2:30 and stopped at about 5:00. Then we started shooting.  My video
